国际 students with an F or J visa who are registered at Fort Hays State University are 要求 to have proof of adequate health insurance coverage as mandated by the Kansas Board of Regents and immigration regulations.

Understanding 健康保险 in the U.S.
If international students choose to provide comparable qualifying health insurance coverage from another provider and want to waive the UnitedHealthCare StudentResources insurance plan, students will need to go through the waiver approval process. 学生需要采取以下行动：

国际 students who have provided proof that they have comparable health insurance coverage may request a waiver to this automatic registration of the school’s health insurance plan by submitting the waiver forms.
For international students "comparable health insurance coverage" means that your health insurance plan meets all the waiver criteria on the Student 健康保险 Waiver Form.
- Coverage for essential benefits (with no dollar limits) is defined under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA). 不接受单独旅行和/或紧急/紧急护理保险。 该政策必须包括：
